ABSTRACT
Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is formed by the selective dialysis of plasma by the choroid plexus present in the ventricles of the brain. CSF is present in the cavity that surrounds the brain in the skull and the spinal cord in the spinal column. The total volume of CSF is about 150 ml. CSF diagnoses central nervous system (CNS) abnormalities.
