ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the present results listed below. (1) Equivalent motion equation of a fractional vibrator of class VI. (2) The quasiequivalent mass, quasiequivalent damping, quasiequivalent stiffness, quasiequivalent damping ratio, quasiequivalent damping free natural frequency, quasiequivalent damped natural frequency, quasiequivalent frequency ratio, quasiequivalent logarithmic decrement, and quasiequivalent Q factor for a fractional vibrator in class VI. (3) The phenomenon that quasiequivalent damping of a fractional vibrator in class VI may vary from −∞ to ∞. (4) Show that a fractional vibrator in class VI may be self-vibrated. (5) The analytical expressions of free response, impulse response, step response, frequency transfer function of a fractional vibrator in class VI.
