ABSTRACT

This chapter addresses the forced response to an Euler–Bernoulli beam with fractional coordinates with the contributions in three aspects. (1) The closed-form representation of the general solution of the forced response to an Euler–Bernoulli beam with fractional coordinates. (2) The closed-form representations of the forced responses to simply supported and free-free Euler–Bernoulli beams with fractional coordinates. (3) Showing the phenomenon of increasing-vibrations of such a beam.
