ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses three things with respect to the forced response to a damped Euler–Bernoulli beam with fractional external damping force. (1) Equivalent equation of fractional coordinates of such a beam. (2) The closed-form expression of the forced response to such a beam. (3) A new variation of the Rayleigh damping based on such a beam.
