Forced Response to Damped Euler-Bernoulli Beam with Fractional Internal Damping Force (Class 3)

This chapter explains the contributions in three aspects with respect to the forced response to a damped Euler–Bernoulli beam with the fractional internal damping force. (1) Equivalent equation of fractional coordinates of such a beam. (2) The closed-form expression of the forced response to such a beam. (3) A new variation form of the Rayleigh damping based on such a beam.
