The adoption of digital technologies across several facets of our lives has sparked the Fourth Industrial Revolution, commonly known as Industry 4.0. This chapter examines the state of technology today within the framework of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, highlighting significant developments, difficulties, and probable long-term effects.
