ABSTRACT
Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Canada or USA? British Columbia or Christopher Columbus? When and what exactly did Columbus discover? If he discovered what is now called British Columbia, then why is it “British” and Columbus seems to have been Spanish or Italian? And why are Montreal and Quebec considered the oldest cities on the continent founded by Europeans, if they are far from the coast, where Columbus, who simply thought he found a shortcut to India, could arrive?
