ABSTRACT

In this book, the authors described a combination of concepts to help design and implement dashboards for interactive visualization tools. The book is actually written for bachelor and master students with not much experience in information visualization, visual analytics, interaction design, Python programming, and dashboard implementation. The book is organized in a way to be studied in its completeness, step-by-step, but also as a chapter-wise introduction to one or more concepts. Moreover, the authors also mentioned the use of algorithms to handle datasets consisting of several data types. A dashboard can be understood as a webpage containing a graphical user interface that is composed of the interface following more or less prominent interface design rules as well as visualization techniques following visual design rules.
