ABSTRACT

This chapter summarizes the contributions and achievements of this monograph, which include the following aspects: 1) refined finite-time fault-tolerant control design for unmanned flight vehicles against actuator faults and input saturation; 2) refined fault-tolerant control investigation for unmanned flight vehicles with simultaneous attenuation of actuator and sensor faults; 3) refined intelligent fault-tolerant control development for unmanned flight vehicles with simultaneous compensation of actuator faults and wind effects; 4) refined fault-tolerant control design for multiple unmanned flight vehicles in a distributed communication network. Moreover, future research directions are also presented, which mainly include the considerations of more fault types, integration of fault detection and diagnosis into the fractional-order fault-tolerant control architecture, outdoor experimental verification for unmanned flight vehicles.
