ABSTRACT

This chapter first presents the unmanned flight vehicle models for the refined safety control design, which include the unmanned aerial vehicle and the unmanned airship. Moreover, the inner-loop and outer-loop models of the fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle are analyzed based on the time-scale separation principle. Furthermore, some intelligent learning mechanisms including radial basis function neural network, fuzzy neural network, fuzzy wavelet neural network, recurrent neural network, recurrent wavelet fuzzy neural network, interval type-2 fuzzy neural network are constructed to facilitate the faut-tolerant control designs. Finally, the Grünwald-Letnikov, Riemann-Liouville, and Caputo definitions of fractional-order calculus are given to construct the refined fractional-order control strategies.
