ABSTRACT
I have been working professionally in film animation in Québec as director, screenwriter, producer and animator since 2004. I have created many animated short films with my film production company MJSTP Films Inc. 1 Two main themes emerge from my filmography: motherhood (which I tackled in Post-Partum [2004], in Passages [FR] [2008], in Femelles [FR] [2012] and in Your mother's a thief! [2018]) and artistic creation (showcased in McLaren's Negatives [2006], The Sapporo Project [2010], Jutra [2014], Flocons [FR] [2014], Oscar [2016] and Lauzon's Theory [2022]. 2 My work in film animation is versatile, as I am also associate professor in the Art and Science of Animation Program at Université Laval's School of Design, where I teach film animation theory and directing.
