ABSTRACT
This chapter is inspired by US Patent 7,850,951, Synthetic Muscle-Based Multi-Powered Active Contact Lens. It is also inspired by contactlens-pat7850951.pdf.
A novel active contact lens system is configured, which allows the wearers to alter the corrective features of the contact lens by a biasing force, which can, for example, be different eye drop solutions having different pH levels. The present chapter is generally related to the restoration of vision using a chemically activated contact lens.
