ABSTRACT
The whole point of hardware development is that someday it will be manufactured in larger quantities that our company can sell and deliver to the customers. Even the prototype has to be manufactured in factories. Manufacturing concerns are not only for manufacturing engineers. Hardware design engineers have to understand and interact with the manufacturing process. A design is not an abstract diagram, it is a physical object that is dependent on how it was made. We have to design our boards to be made easily, and we also have to “design” the manufacturing process of every new board design.
