ABSTRACT
CHAPTER 3 presents the corrosion protection of iron by using epoxy based conducting copolymer composite of aniline and pentafluoroaniline with SiO2 in saline medium. Various corrosion testing methods and their results will be included in this chapter. Different characterization techniques employed to evaluate the quality and properties of coating. This chapter includes the detail explanations of physio-mechanical testing of coating. Role of SiO2 particles in coating system is also explained.
