ABSTRACT
This chapter picks up the discussion on light waves and their properties with special focus on the treatment of light waves. It will address the electromagnetic wave equation derived from Maxwell’s equations. Furthermore, specific properties of the electromagnetic wave, its propagation, its electric and magnetic field composites, and relations between them will be detailed.
