The relations between Information Theory and Natural Sciences are shortly discussed. Chapter 1 considers methodological foundations of classical Signal Theory and Information Theory. Theoretical difficulties within Signal Theory and Information Theory are shown. In this chapter, we outline the ways of logical troubles overcoming in both theories. Chapter 1 is finished with the book principal concept formulation.
