ABSTRACT

In Chapter 4, a series of conversion approaches for photoelectric catalytic reduction of CO2 are introduced in detail. The key target in this field is to rationally design a photoelectric catalyst with high efficiency and high selectivity by combining photocatalytic and electrocatalytic techniques. Thus, more attentions should be focused on fundamental research like the mechanisms of photo-electrocatalytic CO2 reduction, the specific collaborative effect mechanisms as well as the reaction device structures. It is essential to increase further understanding and design different reaction routes for CO2 photocatalytic reduction in different reaction media in this field, which will give direction to the search for high-efficient and high-selective CO2 conversions.
