ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on the interaction of economic and ideological interpersonal power networks from a Lean Brain complex networked perspective. Economic interpersonal power networks control resources such as appraisal systems and make strategic decisions. The purpose of Lean management, as ideological source of interpersonal power, is therefore to guide and modify the structure of value creating processes toward systematic variability reduction by the implementation of certain norms and routines. The brain of the leader itself must auto regulate and control the sweetness of power and restrain itself from being fooled by a distorted perception of reality. S. Christoph seems to be the best fit for the job as he masters both the economic as well as the ideological interpersonal network communication channels. Christoph knows the Lean methods and creates a fairly well-trained web of Lean experts through the implementation of standardized training methodologies.
