ABSTRACT

AlN–Li 3 N. Li 3 AlN 2 ternary compound is formed in this system. It crystallizes in the cubic structure with the lattice parameter a = 942.7 pm (a = 946.1 ± 0.3 pm and an experimental density of 2.33 g⋅cm–3 [Juza and Hund 1946, 1948; Goel and Cahoon 1989]; a = 947.0 pm [Yamane et al. 1985]) and an energy gap of 4.4 eV (Kushida et al. 2004; Kuriyama et al. 2005, 2007).
