ABSTRACT
VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje (VIKOR) is a multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) methodology developed especially for the solution of multicriteria problems with noncommensurable and conflicting criteria. It provides a compromise solution which guarantees a maximum group utility for the majority and a minimum of an individual regret for the opponent. Since environmentally conscious manufacturing and product recovery (ECMPRO) problems involve many conflicting criteria, VIKOR can be an effective solution methodology. However, the number of studies using VIKOR to solve ECMPRO problems is very limited. In this chapter, we present a VIKOR-based model to evaluate alternative reverse logistics operating channels. It uses the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and VIKOR to evaluate alternative reverse logistics operating channels.
