ABSTRACT

The growing scope of the momentous research on Sufficient Dimension Reduction — as well as the fast approaching due date of this book — mean that we have to be brutally selective about the topics to cover. This selection inevitably reflects the author’s bias and his familiarity with the candidate subjects to consider. Many topics, albeit as important as those already presented, have to be left out of the discussions of the preceding chapters. The purpose of this final chapter is to survey some of these topics, laying out their basic ideas, important results, key applications, and references, so as to provide a road map for the interested readers should they wish to pursue these topics further.
