ABSTRACT
Waage, Peter (1833–1900) Norwegian chemist who studied medicine at Christiana University, Oslo in 1854, but changed to science. He established the Law of Mass Action governing the effects of reactant concentration on rate of reaction, with his brother-in-law, Cato Maximillian Guldberg (1836–1902) in 1864.
