ABSTRACT

From a national perspective, there are two unrecognized problems about Asian crime and North American police. First, many of the hard-won cross-cultural (XC) skills, tactics, and knowledge that law enforcement professionals already possess are being lost through transfers, promotions, illnesses, retirements, and death. Second, these cross-cultural skills and field-proven tactics are not being systematically analyzed nor cross-referenced for efficient distribution to assist Asian crime training programs.
