ABSTRACT
Covariance analysis is the workhorse of systems engineering. Almost every engineering discipline uses covariance analysis to assess errors and to evaluate performance. It was not until [52] that techniques were developed to use feedback control to assign a desired covariance. This chapter outlines and extends those procedures.
