ABSTRACT

Off-the-job safety affects on-the-job safety. A chain saw is made for serious work; therefore, it should always be used seriously. A chain saw is considered to be a hazardous tool because in a single second, it can cause a very serious injury or death. Cutting on windy days requires extra caution because the wind can cause trees to fall in the wrong direction — toward us. Most of the time a pedestrian has the right of way. The reason being, that the automobile can move faster out of harm's way than a pedestrian. Bicyclists are required to obey the same rules as motorists when approaching stop signs, traffic signals, and when making right and left turns. There are many many other off-the-job safety subjects that would require enough writing to fill a book. Off-the-job safety affects on-the-job safety.
