ABSTRACT
The main object of the present chapter is to show how the linear logistic model (1.11) can be a basis for the systematic discussion of a range of problems connected with binary response variables. The special cases are intended both to be of intrinsic importance and also to serve as illustrations of formulation and hence as a guide to the discussion of non-standard situations.
