ABSTRACT

Tensor products occur in many contexts. In this chapter we consider tensor products of vector spaces and of bilinear spaces and later on we will need tensor products of algebras. Tensor product of bilinear spaces will be used in the next chapter to define the product of similarity classes of bilinear spaces and this will make the Witt group into the Witt ring. There will be no restriction on the ground field K but, as usual, all vector spaces are assumed to be finitely dimensional.
