ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses many aspects of building business fitness, and have looked at many improvement cases. Regardless of the country or the type of business or industry, people are always a big challenge; humans are complicated beings. Suppose people in company have done well not only in learning the concepts behind the Policy Objective (P/O) Matrix and structure for enhancing daily activities through creativity (SEDAC), but also in learning how to apply them. The P/O Matrix enables companies to translate their priority issues into their employees' day-to-day business activities. The chapter presents the steps of improvement implementation and relates them to roles of the P/O Matrix, SEDAC, and Window Analysis in supporting each step. It is important to understand that SEDAC represents reversal of the cause-effect direction. Rather than waiting for changes to occur on the effect side and then looking for causes on the cause side, SEDAC deliberately changes causes in an effort to observe their impact on effects.
