ABSTRACT
Graph theory is related to topology (in fact graph theory is one-dimen sional topology^), matrix theory, group theory, set theory, probability, com binatorics, and numerical analysis. It has been used in such diverse fields as economics'^ and theoretical physics,^ psychology^ and nuclear physics,^ biomathematics^ and linguistics,^ sociology^® and zoology," techno logyand anthropology,^^ computer science^'^ and g e o g r a p h y , b i o l o g y a n d engineer ing,^ etc.
