ABSTRACT
A Milestone Chart is a graphic representation of the team's progress. The Milestone Chart helps a team see its progress toward their goal. Without one, it may become difficult to see progress. The chart can also help keep assignments organized, and in many ways resembles the "responsibilities work chart" discussed earlier under flowcharting. In addition to the milestone chart, there is one additional variant of this tool that might even be more helpful to the team. If added to the list of activities, responsible persons and due date, this chart can track who else should be involved at each step, the budget assigned, space to keep interested persons informed of the progress, potential roadblocks, etc. Someone is free to decide exactly what kinds of items he/she wish to track and have data on at any given step in the process.
