ABSTRACT
For the isolation of Ga from complex matrices, such as geological and biological materials as well as industrial products, mainly anion exchange in hydrochloric acid (HCl) media, utilizing strongly basic resins, has been employed. With cation exchange resins, especially when used in acetone-mineral acid media, selective separations of Ga from almost all elements are obtained.
