ABSTRACT

Owner-occupiers and investors have many property-related obligations, including the repair and maintenance of the fabric, insurance and other operating costs. These expenditures are called outgoings and this chapter describes the most common outgoings and how the cost of each can be assessed by a valuer when required as part of a valuation.
