ABSTRACT

We first study the construction of a conformal mapping of a do­ main of the type of half-plane with a boundary defined by a periodic circular polygonal line onto a half-plane. Then, for a special case, we give an algorithm of an approximate conformal mapping of a domain of the type being studied onto a half-plane with the aid of two pairs of special blocks. The mapping is defined by elementary functions. We give the results of computations for two variants of the periodic boundary of the domain substantiating the exponential character of convergence of the block method. In conclusion we give a brief de­ scription of the algorithm of an approximate conformal mapping of a domain of the type in question in the general case.
