ABSTRACT
A concern in residual diagnostics is the influence of a single data value on the estimated regression equation. For example, the estimated regression equation may be too dependent on a single, possibly outlying, data value. Several statistics discussed in this chapter measure what happens when a data value is not included in the data during the estimation process.
