ABSTRACT

As a scientific researcher, you will be tasked with formulating, investigating, and testing hypotheses of interest. In order to adequately explore a research hypothesis, you will need to design an experiment, collect the data, and analyze the data. During the analysis stage, the results will provide statistical evidence in support of or against your hypothesis. In some cases, the results may also be inconclusive. In this last case, you will need to assess whatever lessons were learned from the current research, implement any changes, and then proceed to run through another iteration of the research process while considering other factors, such as cost and practical constraints.
