ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we demonstrate an application of concepts of complex systems theory (CST) to investigating the socioeconomic impact of ICT in the context of three groups of sub-Saharan economies. The three groups differ in terms of their levels of income—they are classified by the International Monetary Fund as being low-income, low-middle-income, and upper-middle-income economies of the region.
