ABSTRACT
Delivering a message to a group is difficult. Part of that message needs to be entertaining. Mixing mortar and carrying heavy concrete rings is no one's idea of fun, but managers would attempt to create the most fun possible. Having a "motto" can help people get through the difficult times and the drudgery part of work. Public speaking is a muscle that can be worked out and honed. Discussing difficult, intricate concepts at a level beneath the person to is one of the ways to implement the Taoist philosophy. Going into each and every possession with a plan helped one's team succeed more often than not. Admitting manager's mistake to the team lets them know that even the project manager can make a mistake and take responsibility for it. That approach will influence them to take risks necessary for success and take failure as part of the game.
