ABSTRACT

Part of being an entrepreneur means taking risks and mostly failing. Failing should not be a taboo subject to be avoided at all costs. One way to create that environment is to use improvisation techniques. Ego can build an empire and at the same time destroy it. The executive may appear to do nothing, yet everything gets done. That is the root of the Taoist approach to project management. Grant Cardone, the author of Sell or Be Sold, explains sales as "anything having to do with convincing, persuading, negotiating, or just getting one's way". This style is the approach entrepreneurial project managers take when discussing sales. Training is important to becoming great at anything. Nobody steps up to the plate and starts hitting home runs. As teams perform over many projects, team members become comfortable in their roles. Projects are normally investments. An organization parts with its resources expecting a return on said resources.
