ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses entrepreneurial agile management in the organizational setting. It tackles new ways to approach challenges and how failing quickly helps the organization. For complex projects, agile is the preferred method. It breaks down projects into smaller, more manageable chunks. In construction, staging is used to break down a project. An emphasis in agile management is to see what is working and what can be removed before the project becomes too established. Once the organization is deemed healthy enough to implement agile management, his/her leaders are going to have new roles. To be successful, agile management requires a new set of skills. Implementing a new management style requires new skill sets to transform. Culture plays a large role in an organization's ability to change. Agile management comes as a newer form of managing projects, leading to change throughout the organization.
