ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses methods design concept (MDC) for reducing the number of workers. Following MDC processes are readily available. Organized MDC processes are to lead once success results of productivity improvement automatically, and their results lead to getting real gain (RG). There is no magic to success; step-by-step is a key to remember. The process of MDC is defining input (IP) and (OP) with design restriction, such as affordable money, the requirement terms for implementation, and any requirement to products design. IP is a condition before the process of working methods, and OP is a condition after the process of working methods. Each MDC process has a supportable methodology to find ideas as much as for the object method. After shaping new methods for each operation is summarized as standard operation procedure (SOP), the time value is recommended by the world standard of methods-time measurement (MTM), but the estimation is also acceptable.
