ABSTRACT
This chapter introduces two types of airbreathing engines of the athodyd type. This abbreviation stands for Aero-THermODYnamic-Duct. Thus, these engines are pulsejet and ramjet engines. Both have no major rotating parts (fan/compressor or turbine) and include three stationary modules: an intake (or entry duct), a combustion chamber, and a nozzle [1].
