ABSTRACT
Industrial gas turbines are defined as all gas turbines other than aircraft gas turbines, or aeroengines [1]. An industrial gas turbine is basically a turboshaft engine. Historically, the industrial gas turbine had its roots planted much further back in time than its aeroengine sister, and again these routes sprouted in European soil [2].
