ABSTRACT
In Chapter 7, we have calculated integrated rate laws for isolated reactions. In the following, we will derive rate laws for reaction schemes comprising two reactions: reversible reactions, parallel reactions and sequential reactions. These reaction types are important elements of more complex reaction schemes. Their treatment will enable us to analyze and quantitatively understand complex biochemical reaction pathways and networks.
