ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses air quality issues in two parks in the Greater Yellowstone area: Yellowstone (YELL) and Grand Teton (GRTE). Figure 19.1 shows the Greater Yellowstone Network boundary, along with locations of each park and the population centers with more than 10,000 people around the network. Although there are no human population centers of any magnitude in this area, Salt Lake City, Boise, and Denver are all within 300 mi (483 km) of the network boundary.
