ABSTRACT

In this chapter, the author explains how to construct interesting measures using some simple procedures. The condition says the mapping is countably additive and hence, the author labels this condition as condition (CA). The collection of all subsets of non empty set is the largest s-algebra of subsets of non empty set, so to convert the outer measure extended real-valued mapping into a measure, the author converts the countable subadditivity condition to countable additivity. He shows all the properties of a u-algebra except closure under arbitrary countable unions. The author finds ways to construct outer measures and wants the resulting outer-measure induced measure and induces to have certain properties useful to us.
