ABSTRACT
We have now come to the end of these notes which means you have covered the material in the first three courses. Let’s summarize what we have done in the first three volumes. What we have been trying to do here is to balance the discussions of theory and abstraction with clear explanation and argument so students who are from many areas can follow the texts and use them profitably for self study even if they cannot take this material as a course. Many professionals need to add this sort of training to their toolkit later and they will do that if the text is accessible.
