ABSTRACT

When using search engines, we all hope to obtain useful and authoritative information rather than webpages that only seem to be relevant. Unfortunately, there is no perfect, noise less search result. Sometimes the noise is artificial, mainly SPAM that targets search engine page rankings; other noise could be the result of user activities on the internet, such as large amounts of inaccurate information created by users and non serious compilers. Although noise cannot be avoided completely, good search engines try to eliminate it to the best of their abilities in order to provide the most relevant and accurate search results to the users.
