ABSTRACT
In surveying terms there are either ‘residential’ or ‘commercial’ property sectors. Residential property is essentially homes or dwellings that are owned by private individuals. In most cases these are owner-occupied properties, which may include properties operated on a ‘buy-to-let’ basis by individual investors.
