While Leaning your organization, one of the things that you should look at in each of the functions, departments, or roles is the waste. It has been observed that, over a period of time, there are redundancies that settle into these areas and need to be eliminated. These can be in the following form:
• Efforts not valued: Functions and departments are wasting time on activities that are not relevant.
