ABSTRACT
A large volume of technical information and data about the products has to be negotiated (or transferred) between various systems in the design and manufacturing industries. The different systems have their own distinct data format; therefore, a given set of information has to pass through various data formats and the different systems, thus, leading to increased errors or missing information. However, this problem of data transfer between various systems has been solved to a very large extent, thus, enabling reliable data transfer across various systems.
